A fashion designer must be open minded.
Born in 1957 in Paris, Barbara Bui landed in the fashion world in 1983 when the store opens Kabuki with his business partner William Halimi.
She chose this name in memory of his acting career and a tribute to the Asian theater.
In this shop, Barbara Bui started selling his own creations, and four years later, she presented her first full collection to international press and buyers. In 1988, the first Barbara Bui boutique opens its doors on Rue Etienne Marcel in Paris.
From the start, her clothes are aimed at a confident woman and elegant, coordinating pieces rather severe (such as leather jackets) has asymmetrical skirts and voluminous.
